Freelance experience
I prefer to work within a team and therefore I have been freelancing for high-level design agencies in London. It allows me to brain–storm with like–minded colleagues and further develop my skills. Currently I have been developing my knowledge of ASPX/.net.
accessibility
As a developer, the concept of accessibility helps me consider all audiences and improve and understand coding standards. Semantically–meaningful HTML is ruled by an information hierarchy within a developers code, assisting the comprehension of page elements in all formats and providing easy to use functionality for all users. Accessible websites can be used by screen readers, Braille terminals, screen magnification and speech recognition software and keyboard overlays to help people of all abilities understand its content.
All my websites feature accessibility options, such as scrolling text, descriptive alternative (alt) tags for images, style separated from content and semantic code.
You can zoom into websites and increase font sizes, simply hold down Ctrl and press minus (−) to zoom out or press plus (+) to zoom in you can also use the toggles below.
Below is a toggle to heighten the contrast levels of this site for people who have poor sight.
You can also turn off the cascading styles sheets (CSS) to only read the HTML information by selecting the ‘View’ menu within your broswer, navigate to ‘Page Style’ and selecting ‘No Style’.
