development

Development is like problem solving, it is challenging, but when it comes down to it. I am a geek. I sometimes get excited over clean and complex code. And sometimes I do a little jig!

I also have become after many years of denial and resistance... My mother and therefore love organising my websites, researching new accessibility styles and trends and downright being tidy.

I develop my websites in strict XHTML/CSS as well as JavaScript and then test my work in Firefox, IE7, IE6, Safari, Chrome and Opera ensuring cross browser compatibility, in line with Web Standards guidelines and W3C guidelines. I am also familiar with installing CMS made simple (PHP) and Umbraco (ASPX) CMSs.

What I offer clients:

  • XHTML/CSS wireframe (flat website);
  • Content Management System (CMS);
  • Photo galleries, news modules and contact forms;
  • Custom email marketing templates; and
  • Management of hosting and domain names.
